30th Annual CNOC Vintage Motorcycle Show Wowed the Crowd

Word on the street through summer was there would be a bodacious bike show at MCC Cycles Aug. 14, and it was all that and more!

Exhibitors started arriving at 9 a.m., and spectator bikes began filling the lot soon after. By 10 we knew we had a winner, and all those months of planning and publicizing had paid off. Exhibitor total was 87 quality bikes in a good representative variety of makes, models and vintages. Mother Nature rewarded us with a good day, mild and overcast (no glaring sun) and only a spit of rain.

The spectator lot had bikes parked chockablock, row on row, being a show in itself with a smattering of classics among the Harleys, Japanese iron, Royal Enfields, Meriden & Hinckley Triumphs, Beemers, and Ducatis. Spectators walking in from the car lot included several families, the youngsters agog with the vintage machines.

The folks at MCC put their best foot forward as always, offering welcome donuts and drinks as we set up, and opening their doors in an open house for spectators, who turned out in record numbers.

Kudos to all the CNOC volunteers who helped everything run smoothly, especially Bill and Bob who did a great job tabulating all the ballots. Finally, the T-shirts were fabulous, sure to become collector's items!
